ATV Rental Agreement

Applies to all ATV rentals (ATV 150/180cc Street Legal, ATV 200cc Heavy Duty). When you check the consent box at checkout, you agree to all three sections below.

01 Liability, Damage & Theft›

What you're responsible for

While the ATV is in your care — from key handover to return — you're responsible for any damage, loss, or theft that occurs.

Liability cap: $2,400 USD

This is the maximum we'll charge against the card on file. Minor damage (scuffs, broken accessories, lost keys) is charged at actual repair cost — never more than the cap.

Theft insurance (optional add-on)

Theft insurance is available at checkout. If purchased, it covers theft only — not crash damage, rollovers, or misuse. If not purchased and the ATV is stolen, you remain liable up to the full $2,400 cap.

How we charge for damage

Your card is securely saved on file at booking. If damage occurs, we send photos + itemized invoice before charging. You have 24 hours to flag any disagreement; after that the charge runs against the saved card automatically.

Not covered

Damage from operating under the influence or in violation of law
Damage from carrying more passengers than the model is rated for
Damage from highway/freeway use (ATVs are off-road and surface-street rated only)
Loss of helmet or accessories beyond reasonable wear

02 Cancellation & Refund Policy›

More than 24 hours before pickup

Cancel for a 50% refund. Processed back to original payment method within 5–7 business days.

Within 24 hours of pickup

Cancellations within 24 hours of pickup are charged 100% of the reservation.

For cash payments: the full amount is charged to the card on file.
For credit card payments: no refund is issued.

No-shows

Treated as a same-day cancellation (100% charge / no refund).

Weather & travel disruption

Documented circumstances outside your control — message us early and we'll work it out (rebooking credit, partial refund, or full refund at our discretion).

If we cancel

100% refund and our apology, plus help finding an alternative.

03 Driver Requirements & Use Terms›

Driver requirements

Valid driver's license required.
You must be at least 18 years of age.
Prior ATV experience helpful but not required — we provide a safety walkthrough at pickup.

Helmets & safety

Helmets are mandatory and provided free. Closed-toe shoes required.

Where you can ride

Trails, dirt roads, and jungle paths
Beaches where allowed by local authority
Surface streets to/from trail access
Not for highway/freeway use.
Within Quintana Roo only — no trips to neighboring states without prior permission.

Passengers

ATV passenger ratings vary by model. Your pickup paperwork will specify the maximum. Carrying more passengers voids insurance and breaches this agreement.

Fuel & return

Full tank at pickup. Return full or pay refueling fee + service charge. Late returns billed by the hour.

Prohibited use

Operating under the influence
Racing, stunting, or jumps
Commercial use without permission
Subletting or transferring the rental
Hazardous cargo

Local law

Follow all Mexican traffic laws. Any tickets or fines during the rental period are your responsibility.
